Lake Brantley High School Patriot Singers and the Voices of Freedom, the school’s two most advanced choirs, will sing holiday songs from 7-8 p.m. at Wekiwa Springs State Park, 1800 Wekiwa Circle, Apopka, south of SR 436 off Wekiwa Springs Road. FREE Apopka Citizens Public Safety Academy classes to begin on February 26, 2015, and will meet every Thursday at 6:30 p.m., for two hours for 10 weeks. This year, a driving course will be included along with police and fire instruction on Patrol, Special Investigations, Special Response Team, Emergency Response Team, Crime Scene, TAC, CPR, Fire Safety and several others.
